Summary: Overall the stay was ok but we had a few issues which were either not resolved or took a few days for any response. When we arrived the hotel was clean and lovely but there was no lift for accessibility. There were a few ramps. The room was lovely and bed comfortable but the door to the bathroom was jammed, no toilet roll holders so just on the floor, also the safe and tv didn’t work (in fact the back of the tv had a short and gave us a shock!) We contacted reception several times to resolve, after two days they fixed the safe and tv but the bathroom door was still jammed. We also had a quite prickly response from the reception staff when requesting a taxi whereas the hotel down the road was happy to help. Overall, the hotel served it’s purpose of somewhere to stay but it’s not the experience we were hoping for.
